Do you have a Disney fan in your family? Our family loves to visit Walt Disney World every chance we get. The very site of Cinderella’s Castle makes us feel as if we have been transported into the pages of a fairy tale.
Over the years we have read many of the original stories Disney has used as the inspiration for its movies and attractions. Here is a list of some of our favorite Books for Young Disney Fans. Even if a trip to the Magic Kingdom isn’t in your plans, your children can experience a little Disney magic by diving into one of these wonderful books.
The Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh– Welcome to the world of Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Christopher Robin and all of their friends. Join their adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood as Pooh gets into a tight place, Eyore loses a tail and Piglet meets a Heffalump.
The Little Mermaid– Read the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale of a young mermaid princess’ life under the sea.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland – You never know who Alice might encounter as she tumbles down a rabbit hole. It seems every step she takes is “curiouser and curiouser”.
Rapunzel – This beautiful books tells the story of Rapunzel, the young girl trapped in the tower…until she let’s down her hair.
Peter Pan and Wendy – Travel with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and Wendy on a fantastic adventure to Neverland.
Cinderella– Don’t forget your glass slipper! This version of the classic Cinderella tale comes to life with beautiful illustrations by Caldecott Honor illustrator Marcia Brown.
Snow White: A Tale from the Brothers Grimm– The evil queen is no match for the beautiful young Snow White and her many friends.
