Have your kids ever wondered about the stories behind some of the items they use every day? Who invented it? When was it invented? What was the inspiration for this new idea?

Not every inventor dedicates his/her entire life to the process of inventing. Many of the ideas for products we use every day came from people who identified a need and then sought a creative solution to meet that need. And, as some of these books will show, many inventions were actually mistakes!

    • Yay Vanessa! I think the girls will really enjoy those – my favorite story is the one about the chocolate chip cookies..you may have to “test” out different recipes to see which you like the best 🙂
