It’s time for another round of the Poppins Book Nook! The theme this time was Beyond Our Planet.

This is actually a fun theme for us because we love studying space. My 3rd grader is currently studying space in science. The only trouble I had was finding a picture book for space! So we went with this book to introduce our littlest guy to planets and space – My Little Book of Space.

Like many of you, we are in a busy season in life and my activities either have to be practical to our life season or super simple. This month we went with super simple. 😉

We made play dough planets!

We used store bought Play Dough, but if you are more adventurous than I, you can make your own. There are SO many homemade play dough recipes out there. I actually have a Pinterest board full of recipes for you to check out.

That’s all I have for you this time! Next time, the theme is To The Kitchen! I already know what book we will be using for this one and we will be changing gears a bit and focusing on upper elementary students. I hope you will join us!
